This document is for accounting professionals who manage multiple clients. Working in accountant view grants you full administrative access to your clients' TSheets accounts. Exception: You will have only view rights to Schedule.

Notes: If your client isn't currently using TSheets, and they set up an account via the email below, you receive a commission!

How To Get Access to Client Accounts

  1. In TSheets, at the top right, click your name.
  2. Next to Client Access, click MANAGE.

  3. In the Manage Clients window, click Add Clients.
  4. In the box, enter client email addresses (using a comma to separate each one), and click Send Request. The clients will receive an email similar to this:

    The email invitation expires after two weeks. A new invitation can be sent anytime from the Client Access window.

  5. When a client has accepted your access request, their status in the Manage Clients window will change to Active. Statuses are updated every five minutes. If it hasn't been that long, at the top right, click the X to close the window, and reopen it.

How to Switch Between Accounts

  1. In TSheets, at the top right, click your name.
  2. From the Client Access drop-down, select a client, and click Switch. At the top right, notice that your company name has changed to the client's company name.
  3. To return to your TSheets account, at the top, click Back to My TSheets.

How to Remove Access to a Client's Account

  1. In TSheets, at the top right, click your name.
  2. Next to the Client Access drop-down, click MANAGE.
  3. In the Client Access window, at the right of the client's company name, click the X.

How to Grant Accountant View Access to an Employee

  1. In TSheets, go to Employees.
  2. At the right of the employee's name, click the pencil icon ().
  3. Click the Permissions tab, select Manage client accounts, and click Save.
