Accountant Access: How to Grant and Revoke It

How to Request Accountant Access

If you would like your accountant to easily access your TSheets account, follow these steps to send the request.

  1. Go to Company Settings > General > Account SetupAccountant Access.
  2. Enter your accountant's email and name, then click Send Invite.
  3. Your accountant will receive an email, inviting them to create a TSheets PRO account, or sign into an existing account.
 

How To Grant Accountant Access

If your accountant already has a TSheets account, they can request access to your account.

  1. When an accountant requests access to your TSheets account, you will receive an email from TSheets Notification. Open the email, and click Grant Access.
    • Note: If you do not have a TSheets account, click Start my FREE Trial to set one up!
  2. You will be prompted to log in to TSheets. You may also be prompted to input your TSheets URL if your username is associated with more than one TSheets account.
  3. In the Accountant Access message, review the request, and click Grant Access.
  4. If you manage multiple TSheets accounts, make sure that the correct name is displayed in the message.

 

How to Revoke Accountant Access

  1. Go to Company Settings > General > Account SetupAccountant Access.
  2. Click Revoke Access.
