I would like to have the ability to make a job code inactive without deleting it. I have the option of unassigning it, but that is not the best solution. Is there another way?

It would be awesome if you had a weekly time sheet iPad app that did offline syncing.

It would be great if there was an option to make GPS Tracking mandatory on the mobile apps for employees. Our employees don't like it, so they turn it off and steal hours. Please fix this!!

It would be nice to use a custom subdomain (timeclock.domain.com) or domain (mycompanytimeclock.com) with TSheets as an alternative to the mycompany.tsheets.com URLs.

Can you have TSheets for Android remember in a drop down menu,
the most recently used 5 or 10 Job names, Client names (you call them "customers"),
and the most recently used 5 or 10 Job Task Numbers ( you call them "Service Items") etc.
This avoids timely searching for the most common clients or tasks, which ,of course, wastes time:)

We need the ability to duplicate timesheet entries. The problem is we have to copy and paste notes when we continue work on a task from earlier in the day. We enter a lot of info into the Notes fields.

The solution would be to duplicate the entry we are continuing work on and adjust the times.

Several of our employees have suggested to us that the switch button on the Iphone application just switch the service item, and not both the customer and the service item. With the labor that we provide, our employees often switch between multiple service items for the same customer throughout the day. Limiting the button to this feature would increase efficiency for our employees.

Fix the filtered service items by job on the mobile apps. it work with the desktop version, but not with the mobile apps. I would like to select a job the filter the item selection to only the items assigned to the job.

It would be great to have the ability to save the Schedule as a PDF. A lot of my employees do not always have access to a computer and a few do not have smart phones to be able to view the app. It would be extremely beneficial to be able to have a hard copy of the schedule I could use to put up in the office or be able to give to them so they can see where everyone will be including themselves far in advance without having to be logged in.

It would be nice to have a "kiosk" mode that could be secured by authorized IP which listed available employees and they could clock in/out by clicking their name and entering password or a PIN. The screen would also show the status (in or out) of each employee and the date/time of their last activity. This would be helpful for small instances that have specific workstations for clocking in and out (i.e. in a breakroom) for employees that don't usually use a computer in their day-to-day job.

It would be helpful to companies that do not need to use Customers/Job Codes when employees clock in/out to be able to globally turn that functionality off. TSheets support is able to turn off QuickBooks syncing of Customers upon request, but it might be something worth adding in the admin panel itself.

It would be helpful to be able to assign a specific manager/administrator to an employee or group so that only they receive the approval and alert emails for the employee(s) that they manage.

PROBLEM: Currently managing groups still see ALL service items when entering time for employees they manage.

SOLUTION: Restrict service items globally by customer.

Would love a windows desktop gadget

The schedule only shows start times, and does not list the job code, end time, or any other details about the schedule. being able to see these details would help out considerably, especially when you have multiple bookings on one day.

There should be a feature where I as a manager can open a calender and plot in days that should be considered holidays and as such should work just as Sundays. All time worked on these days should
count as overtime.

When I run a project report I need the ability to group by Employee or another criteria.

Something that is visible to all. Permissions granted to managers and employees. The ability to choose your availability and see what shifts are available. This can then be integrated with the employees/staff module to bring it all together. Right now we use shiftplanning and I believe it be a very useful tool.

Some professional services organizations use block billing, i.e., a single time entry that covers multiple tasks with the total time billed in one day in a single entry. The mobile app does not allow you to go back to a time entry and add to it or edit it. It creates a separate one every time. Allowing authorized users to edit their manual time card from the mobile app would solve this. (I realize you can edit from the web but that defeats the purpose of having a mobile app).
